Rakov Škocjan is a picturesque karst valley, formed by the sinking and collapsing of a cave ceiling. We visited this breathtaking place on our way home from the seaside. An education trail leads through the valley with various points of interest; from old ruins to natural sights.
The end of 2017. No plans for New Year's. The least we could do is spend a few days somewhere nice. So we went to Kras - Karst region of Slovenia, and spent 3 days in an amazing atmosphere. Our whole experience revolved around our accommodation - Hotel St. Daniel. The plan was to see Štanjel - a picturesque hilltop village.
Snow Cave is the highest-lying tourist cave in Slovenia with an entrance altitude of 1530m. A 45min car ride from House Raduha lies this intriguing cave with temperatures from 0 to 4°C to cool off the summer days ...
