Bohinj

It was a sunny afternoon just after New Year’s. We took our dog for a walk at Lake Bohinj. We circled from Ribcev Laz to Stara Fuzina for a cup of coffee at Majer’ca, a new boutique hotel. We then drove to Ukanc for some frosty vibes and finished with an amazing burger at Foksner.

Hiking around Mangart saddle with great views all around. Mangart is Slovenia’s fourth highest mountain with a very convenient access - the Mangart road (Slovenia’s highest road). We didn't ascend the mountain itself but merely circled around the plateau. Next time we'll surely conquer it.
