Prlekija is a region in northeastern Slovenia. Since it’s quite distant from Gorenjska, it’s an area we don’t visit often. We were pleasantly surprised though.

Our whole experience revolved around our accommodation - Hotel St. Daniel. The plan was to see Štanjel - a picturesque hilltop village.
